School party.

Yesterday it was the school party before the end of this  semester. There were  many students from all  classes. I was so happy to sit down with my classmates to enjoyed  the day. I made  a delicious cake. I think everybody enjoyed it. We ate and dance a lot. I think it was more fun in the morning than the afternoon party. I am so sat because the semester is over. Also, I am very sat because I can't came to school next semester. I have to do my surgery. I am not a perfect student, but I will miss school  and  you guys. Have a great weekend and keep study for the test. !!!

School trip in Manhattan.

Yesterday I went to Manhattan with my school. I took the bus from the school at 4:00. There were only 20 people at the bus. I was really surprise because it was a big bus with 60 sits. I only knew a person. I was very uncomfortable in the begging but after I became really comfortable.We went to see the king Tun museum. It was very good but i can say that I am really museum person. We went for coffee and food. Then we went to see the tree. We tool many photos an videos. We spent 3 hours in Manhattan. I had a great time but I was very sad because nobody came from my class. We paid $15 dollars but the trip was free. One of the teachers pay for it.She gave back the money because she wanted us to buy dinner. God bless her. I had so mush fun and I glad   that I  went.

Unstoppable movie.

Yesterday I went to see the Unstoppable movie. It was the most amazing movie that I have seen. It was a real story in 2001. It  had to do about a Runaway train. It took place in Pennsylvania. The train had a lot of toxic chemical on it. There were two guys who help to stop it. I was so happy in the end because nobody died. I recommend to all of you.   

My trip to Ground zero.

I had an forgettable day. I woke up this morning early because I wanted to go to church with my aunt. The church planed a trip to Ground zero for liturgy for St. Nicholas to be rebuilt. This church was there from 1911. I learn many things that I didn't know about  St. Nicholas. St. Nicholas,Santa clause father Christmas. I had  a great day in Manhattan. I met a lot of people in Ground zero. There was the most important people from the Greek community. Also, there was the   NY comptroller. I took  as many pictures as I could. There were some surprises, on our way to the city. The bus that we took broke down ,so we waited for another to came. Also, on our way back the 2nd bus again broke down we were so disappointed but happy at the same time we sang,told jokes & very very hungry.

This was the only icon that they found the church.

Today.

I had a great day. My aunts son came from RI with his wife,son,and relatives. We met in Astoria. We went to eat in a Greek restaurant. The name of the restaurant is iliada. It has the most amazing food. The server was great. We all enjoyed our food. Then we went for Greek coffee. The name of the coffee is Frappé. It is my favorite coffee. Finally, we went shopping . We bought a lot things . I really enjoyed my day with them.

My bad luck.

Yesterday I had a bad day. I didn't tell anybody that I am going to take my road test. I woke up at 7: 00 am to get ready for the road test. My  road test took please in Garden city. I was  happy for it. I  went there with my aunt. We parked the car. One guy came to see if everything was in order . He saw the car and he said that the car needed to be inspected and we couldn't continuou..He told me to make another appointment. I was  very very upset. I was waiting one month for this day and  I couldn't  understand why . I am one of those who believe that everything happened for some reason ,but in this case I don't understand the reason.      

Thanksgiving.

I think Thanksgiving is one of the  biggest holiday in America.  Many people get together with family, friends, and relatives. They cook the turkey and they have fun. In Greece we don't celebrity Thanksgiving. When I came to the US I adopt  it. I think Thanksgiving is a special day for everybody. we all have to give thanks to the God and to the people.  I want to thankful for dunkin donuts, how is keeps me up every morning. Also, thankful for my wonderful family, friends,and teachers who try to make us more intelligent. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!    We make this turkey at our restaurant.!!!!

The new Harry Potter movie.

 Hi everybody,  I just came home with my aunt.We went to the movies. We sow the new Harry Potter movie. It was a very nice  movie with a lot of action. The theater was full of  young people, probably students home for the thanksgiving weekend. I was so happy to see this movie because It had to do with young characters. The young people tried to save the world from evil. I didn't like the end because I have to way for the next  part to see what is going to happened next. I really recommended to all of you.

The Greek wedding!!!

Yesterday, My aunt I went to a Greek weeding. The weeding took place at St. Demetrius church in Merrick. There were two events one wedding and one christening. The church was so beautiful and big. After the events we went to the SAND CASTLE. The place was amazing. They had so much food. The atmosphere  was amazing. There were many people like the big fat Greek wedding. I was so happy. My aunt and I had so much  fun. We dance and drank . The people were very nice to us. I met a lot people that I didn't know before. Many of them  in the end gave me a lot comments about my dancing. It was the bes wedding.

SKYLINE MOVIE.

Today I went to the movies with my aunt.We sow the SKYLINE movie. It took please in Los Angeles. It has to do about a strange light start drawing people outside. It was a group of 6 people. They were together for the most of  time. They try to escape many times from the building . In the end of the movie only one of the girls saved. I think it wanted to show us that one day might the planets can came and we can die. I didn't really it because It wan't long. I don't recommend to anybody. I can't understand why they make movies like this. It was very boring.

Good news! :)

Today I had great news. My brother and sister in law called me from Greece. There were very happy to tell me that they are expecting their first child. The baby will be here same time in June. I was very happy and at the same time very surprise. I wish my grandmother could  have been here to see all her great grandchildren. I can't wait to see the baby!!! This is my brother with his wife on this photos. I'm glad that I went to his wadding. His is my biggest brother. I wish him always happiness in his life. :)  

Concert in MGM :)

My friends,cousins,and I went to a Greek concert took please at Fox-woods Casino in Connecticut. The concert started at 9:00 pm and finished at 12:00 am. There were many Greek people. The singer came from Greece and he is singing all over the U.S. His name is Thanos Petrelis. He is one of my favorite singers. It was very happy to see him closer. I took many photos because this is my hobby.We danced and drank. At the end of the concert we waited to take photos with the singer.I was so excited. He sigred his autographed his name on. There was a long line to see him. After all that we went to the casino. We played for a couple hours. Then we had to drive back to NY. It was a very long drive and I will not doing again. :)() 

My trip to cunneticunt!!

Today I had a long day. My aunt and I drove to cunneticunt to see her mother. She is at the hospital in a very bad condition. She has a heart problem. She might pass way day by day.It's very sat because she is only 73 years old. I felt so bad. My aunt and I spent all day at the hospital. She sow many doctors and they said to her that they can't do anything to save her. Eveything has to do with her heart. Her face looked good but her heart is bad. I was so happy to see all the doctors and norses caring for her. I'm glab that I didn't have school day because it gave me the opportunity to see her. Now I am on my way to NY. I am very tired and I have another hour. Thank GOd I did my homework at the hospital. Good night everyone ;)

Many comments!!

Today, I had many comments about my style  from a lot people. First, I had appointment with my conversation partner at 12:30. He asked me where I am going, but I had no idea why he asked me that. I asked to  him back why and he said that you seems that you go to the office.I said to him that sometimes is a good idea to change  your style. After that I when to my families restaurant and everybody was looking  at me. I didn't understand what happening. They said where are going with this clothes. I didn't understand all this comments again . I really like to dress nice most of the times ,but people have diffident idea about clothes. DO I HAVE TO REALLY CHANGE MY STYLE???    

Monday ;)

I would say  that most of the people hate  Mondays . Today it was a difficult day for everybody. It was the coldest day of this month. I am glad that I didn't have to take the bus  because my aunt gave me right to school. I couldn't believe this weather.I sow the first snowflakes this morning. After,school  I had to take care some important papers at building F,and then I went home. I was freeze. I made a soup.I did my homework for tomorrow. I will make a cup of coffee and I will enjoy my fireplace. Good night everyone!! 

Today!!

Hello everybody, how are you doing.Today I had a great day at school.FIrst, I was very happy for my writing.Second,I really enjoyed the workshop with Magrot. After that I went home because My aunt and my uncle came from Greece. They were on vacation. They were there from two months. I had all the house by myself. Penelope and I were very happy to see them. My aunt asked me how school is going and I said to her you know the same. Also, she asked how was the party? I made delicious dinner for them because I felt bad.They were for many hours on the plane. We had a beautiful conversation with each other!

NO CLASS TODAY!!

Hi everybody,I felt so bad this morning when I sow the e-mail from Elaine. I was surprise because I know Elaine never missed any class in the past.I was getting ready for school but thank God the e-mail came on time. I wrote back to Hector to make sure that It was not school today. After, all that I went back to sleep and  I wake up very late . I was very tired from the weekend. I made a wonderful breakfast. I really enjoy this morning. I don't want to go out side. It is a very cold day.  I  really enjoyed to write to every body's blogs. I will see you tomorrow  guys . Feel better Elaine :) xoxoxo

Sunday.

Hello everybody, I hope you had a great Halloween yesterday. I went to see my family in Rhode Island. I had to go because it was my littler cousin's birthday. She turned 5 years old. She was so cute,I bought her toys. She was very excited to see me. My cousin cooked for us. I had a great time with my littler cousins. It was a beautiful night but very long. It took us 3 hours to go and another 3 hours to come back. When I came home I was very tired but I had to finish my homework and put some things a way from the party. After all that I went to bed. GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!!!!

My 25th birthday:)

Friday, it was my birthday party at my house. I was very stressed out about it. I went home to organize everything .I was very happy but at the same time I was worried about everything . I started to cook and clean the house. I was wearing a beautiful blue dress. I did my make up and my hair as much I could. People started to come at 8:pm. The  house smelled nice from all the food. 25 people came to my house.I had to introduce them around. A lot of people from school came. It was the best party in my life. I had so much fun. The last people left at 3am.I was very tired  and I couldn't stay wake. :)
